Why do I receive an a security warning from Outlook when building documents?

Under certain circumstances, you may be presented with a security warning with a message to the effect of 'a program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook' when building outgoing e-mails. 

• The ContactsLaw add-in for Microsoft Outlook provides document library integration and registration features. This functionality runs from within Outlook, and is implicitly trusted when you install the add-in.
• The Microsoft Outlook integration plug-in allows you to build documents and send e-mails through ContactsLaw. This functionality runs from within ContactsLaw, and is not implicitly trusted.

By default, Outlook will only display a pop-up warning about programmatic access when the user's anti-virus software is inactive or out-of-date. Installing approved, up-to-date anti-virus software will suppress the warning from appearing.

You can manually disable this warning via an option in the Trust Center settings (Programmatic Access Security) in Outlook.
